Week 7-13 August 2023 with friends for trekking We stayed in the structure 500 m upstream from the inn called Nikolajevka Refuge, so we did not see the rooms in the inn itself. Rooms with double bed plus bunk beds, large private bathroom: they are simply furnished, but new, very clean and functional, a few wall hangers and a few more shelves wouldn't have gone amiss. We opted for breakfast in the inn, but it is also possible to have it in the refuge: breakfast is without a buffet, with bread, jams, fruit juice and milk and coffee at will. Dinner always offers a choice of hearty, tasty local dishes without unnecessary frills, like in a real tavern: venison, roe deer, polenta, casoncelli, gnocchi with bagoss, all excellent. The family that runs the property can be seen putting passion and love into it! At table service in particular, Greta was splendid: always smiling and professional, she made us feel at home! For those looking for an authentic place, which does not follow the fashions of the moment, this inn is worth the trip. I believe the value for money is unbeatable throughout the Alps!

Inn surrounded by greenery, relaxed environment! Very friendly and polite staff, they work hard, especially the girl outside who managed all the tables almost alone without making us wait long! Food arrived quickly, portions ok, not exaggerated but adequate, price certainly very good, fabulous food! Really satisfied! I will recommend it!
